Living Water; is one that will always bring back special
memories for me. In April of 2002, I remember writing
this song about Jesus and the Samaritan woman at
Jacobs well, from Bible verses John 4:1-42. The song
lyrics include, “A woman came to draw water from the
well, she didn’t know Jesus.” When God put those
song lyrics on my heart, they touched me very deeply,
and gave me great motivation to continue writing the
song. One summer afternoon, Dominique and her dear
friend, Leanne Johnston, came to my studio to hear
my new song and record the vocals. As Dominique
began singing, we were all so moved, because we
could feel God’s presence among us in a powerful
way! Leanne, bless her heart, prayed as Dominique
sang the song, and the room was filled with God’s
anointing as He blessed Dominique’s recording. The
song turned out more beautiful than I had imagined.
Dominique was able to reach all the high notes and
improvised the song lyrics like I had never seen before.
We all knew in our hearts that day God had blessed
our Living Water song in a powerful way!! C.W.F.
